Duplicate Content - What is It. The Facts

Their are a lot of myths on the internet about duplicate content

Duplicate content is not what most people think - in that your content should NOT appear anywhere else
on the Internet apart from the one place that you have created it for.

i.e most people believe that if you have the same piece of content on say, your website, your blog and at an article directory, Google will somehow penalise you and only show your content on one of your of your content's destinations - this simply is NOT true.

Duplicate content is where you place the same piece of content elsewhere within the same site, i.e on your website on perhaps the home page and also elsewhere on another page.

Why would anyone do this ? quite simply to PAD out the content on their site to make it look better.

This is what Google do not like, and this is what duplicate content is.

All the best

How to Get FREE TrafficTo Your Website or Blog

How can we get FREE traffic to our website or blog 24/7 is something we all want to know - let's be honest, traffic equals customers which equals MONEY!, no traffic, no customers, it's as simple as that – if you don't have enough traffic – GOODBYE business

No 1 Traffic Tip - the email signature

Email signatures are extremely easy to do but also very effective - you would be surprised at how many people do not have an email signature.

Think how many people you email each day?

By adding a SIMPLE - but effective couple of lines to the bottom of each email you can work wonders in getting your message across to your respondents They will read your email then either choose to click on your signature link to your website, or ignore it

It's SO, SO simple, you can get your 2 or 3 line message across to anyone you email - FREE!

Think of a couple of lines for your sales message, perhaps a FREE eBook - How to get loads of FREE Traffic - Grab yours NOW!!, then on the next line set up a link to your website - this is easy to do, you go into your email program.

Select tools, select options, and then select signature (options may vary with different email programs)' now either add the URL (address) to your website or in some email programs the editor will allow you to do a clickable link (hyperlink)

There you go – you've now created your email signature for the entire world to see (well, your contacts anyway) all free, but very, very effective.

No 2 Traffic Tip , on how to get free traffic to your website or blog is Forum Marketing.

This is an absolute favourite of mine - ok, it may take a while to get a lot of traffic but this can keep traffic coming for years to come.

I simply join good forums in my niche, not just any old forum, you want to join forums with plenty of people in them, and I would say if you wanted a number - 20,000 people or more.

Now don't go in and start spouting about your website or new super product straight away, it wont work and will just get you a reputation as a spammer - you need to ease yourself in gently and offer value to the forum.

In your forum profile you have a chance to tell them all about yourself, and you add a nice photo so they can see you are human... and you also add a signature, this will be seen at the bottom of your post, so go ahead, answer some questions, start some interesting topics,

Offer value by giving people good information - add great value information to the forum and people will respond by reading your posts and your signature at the bottom of each one.

Traffic Tip 3, Blog posting - is to subscribe to as many high traffic blogs in your niche as you can, and then reply to the posts with good sound advice - this in turn will allow you to include your website URL, which people will click on to go to your site, now you are creating links back to you & your website or squeeze page or even your blog.

When you respond to questions or posts on blogs, don't just say, "good advice" or "thanks for the info", write some detailed & useful information that other people will find interesting, people pass these articles & replies on all the time, if you offer good information, people will respond positively with an interest in you and what you are doing

Now I hope you have enjoyed these traffic tips because I have something even better for you below and you will want to know this valuable information, it's a great free eBook for you and you are going to LOVE it, I promise – you can create your own web pages to drive all this lovely free traffic to

It's very, very easy, believe me if I can do it, anyone can

Make your Own Website & Turn it Into an Internet Cash Machine

Design a website - WHO ME ??, you must be joking, is this you ?. This was me a few weeks ago. It used to be considered difficult to design web pages, people had to know HTML (Hyper Text Mark-up Language) and if you didn't have a degree in web design then it was either spend hours poring over books or plain give up..

This has all changed, Web 2 has arrived and everything has got faster, slicker and much easier, now - website design has got cheaper and cheaper and one reason for this is because people are designing and building their own sites

Now whether you want to build your own fan website or to build a site to make money, never has their been a better time to get cracking in this fun and possibly lucrative pass-time.

We all want to show off to the world - right ? maybe our online skills, our cool photo's, our video's, our articles and stuff, where better to display what you do or what you know, than on your own website.

Now I have to be honest, when it comes to design, I cringe at the word, as my design skills are practically zero but even I can make great looking web pages designed to THRILL!! simply by following a few steps.

If you have no idea what ftp is or http or html, don't worry you soon will.

Now I use a little free html editor called "Komposer" this handy tool is what I design my web pages in - you can write text, import photo's and even upload everything (barring e-books) to the web all in a few strokes, so your first task is to download Komposer.

Next you will need a domain name - this is the web address your website sits on - you can get one fairly cheaply from Go Daddy for a yearly fee of about $9, make the domain name relevant to what your website is about, only get a .com as it's still the most recognised domain ending in the entire universe.

You will also need a hosting account - Hostgator is good as you can host unlimited web pages for about $10 a month. A hosting account is necessary as you will be renting space (like real estate) to park your website on.

Now, do you want to make money with this site ? if you want to make money, you are going to need to create your own list and you will need to send emails to your list of prospects using an autoresponder, an autoresponder is a piece of software that lets you submit emails to your potential customers in sequence, all on auto pilot - I can recommend Aweber, this is the same one I use myself.

Now you will need to learn to put this all together to make it work, and boy will it work, that is more than I can do in a short article like this - I have a FREE 125 page eBook for you about creating your own website, GET YOURS NOW!!

Tips & Benefits for Distributing Your Articles

You may already publish articles on your own site to provide valuable content to your readers and to generate traffic through search engines, word of mouth, etc. But there are plenty of benefits to distributing your content elsewhere online.

Here are just some of those benefits:

1. Expand your reach
2. Reach new (sub) markets
3. Increased brand recognition
4. Incoming links to your site for traffic and link reputation
5. Connection with other businesses, reaching a similar target market
6. Credibility – having your name out there

Tips to get your content out there:

1. Article directories like Ezine Articlesand Go Articles, but don’t limit to that
2. Guest posts on blogs. Find relevant, high traffic blog
3. Sites like Squidoo and Hub Pages – these sites have a good source of traffic to tap into
4. Turn articles into press releases and submit to prweb.com and relevant media
5. Contact content site owners directly to offer your content for publication
6. Contact Ezine owners to see if they'd like to publish your articles in their ezine.

Other Tips:

1. Where original content is required, rewrite and repurpose articles for future distribution
2. Rework articles with relevant examples to suit slightly different audiences.
3. Choose quality over quantity. You don’t have to submit your articles everywhere. Monitor your results and focus on the best performing opportunities

The key is to think strategically and how to maximize the use of the content you create. Whether the same article is published in more than one place, or you rewrite articles for new audience, get extra mileage out of each and every piece.

Articles need websites to display them on, blogs like this are great but why not also learn how to create your own websites to display content - FREE 125 page eBook

Kick Start Your Internet Online Home Based Business With Blogging

by Imeyesite

Blogging has been used for some years as a platform for individuals to record chronological publication of comments and thoughts on the web. They usually include philosophical reflections, opinions on the Internet and social or political issues. This article explains how one could go beyond this to capitalise the strength of blogging to enhance one's Internet business.

A weblog, or more popularly known as "blog", is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is "blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger." Blogs are typically updated daily using software that allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain the blog.

The popularity of blog is gaining momentum globally with each passing month. A recent survey conducted by Comscore.com shows the following findings:

1) 50 million of the population in the USA visited blog sites in the first quarter of 2005

2) This indicates an increase of about 45% compared to First Quarter of 2004.

3) An average blog visitor spends 23 hours per week online while an average Internet user spends only 13 hours online.

4) Blog visitors are 11% more likely than the average Internet users to have incomes of $75,000 or more.

5) Blog visitors are 30% more likely to buy products or services online.

Anybody thinking of starting an online venture, would be silly not to recognise the importance of blogging being one of the best tools of Internet marketing.

Blogging is a perfect way for the average person to make money online without going through all the troubles and frustration of learning how to set up a website and be an efficient internet marketer.

Let's now talk about nich products. Why do you need a nich product? And what has this to do with "blogging"? You may ask. It is because your online business has little hope of succeeding if you're going head to head with the big boys. As a small Internet entrepreneur, you can never hope to compete with the big boys in terms of the power of pricing strategy and advertising. But you can be successful by finding niche markets or niche products that you seldom find at your local mall in oder to stay away from the empowering presence of the big guys.

Niche market basically is a market with a significant amount of interest online that does not encounter the same competition as in other regular products. You can easily create a niche market based on any topics including even your own hobbies, e.g. gardening, guitar, tropical fish, D.I.Y etc. As long as the topic is being searched for online, you would have a great opportunity of making some profit through adding ads to your blog and making some effort in promoting your targeted affiliate programs and products.

Many internet marketing newbies opt for blogs to set up their niche markets because as beginners, they can very easily add pages, images, banners, downloads, ebooks etc to their blogs. Unlike the regular websites, they do not need to worry about having to understand HTML (the website design language)!

Savvy marketers have discovered that blogging is one of the best Internet marketing methods that is free because you could create your blog almost immediately at no cost compared to the setting up of a conventional website.

Putting information in your blog to help establishing your presence in the Web is now a growing phenomenon. Blogging for your Internet business is one surefire way to enhance the visibility of your products and services.

With the continuing improvement in software technology, publishing, introducing plug-ins, banners, pictures etc to create a fun and interesting "website" has become a breeze even to those retirees with old and rusty brains.

The more content you add to your blog, the more traffic you get. And you can add these materials almost on a daily basis.

You could get high ranking search engine placement for many internet marketing terms just by designing your posts around certain targeted keywords. This phenomenon is more prominent when handling niche markets due to the lack of competition. Free articles could be easily obtained from many article directories in the web and posted to your blogs for the benefits of your visitors.

There's almost no limit to what you could and want to do with your blog. You can include your ideas, opinions, expertise in your field of work, resumes, home recipes, pictures, audio or video clips, e-books, poetry, products, services, consultations etc., etc.

What are the main differences between a blog and a website then? You may ask.

Most websites are relatively permanent with only occasional updating. With blogs, you could post any new content almost on daily basis. Also, websites are usually less personal as far as their relationship with the visitors is concerned.

How do you start your first step to set up a blog? There are many host services providers you could join. Among the most popular are Blogger.com and LiveJournal.com. You could start with Blogger.com which many newbies find serving their needs just perfectly.

With Blogger.com, posting your web content is like a breezy walk in the park. Photographs of your produces etc, along with any text, could be uploaded to your blog right away with just a few clicks of your mouse.

Another facility you could use is Audioblogger that enables audio posting to your current blog site with any phone at any time from any place. It is not only effective but also easy and fun. You call a given number, record a post, then your blog is updated with an audioblogger icon and a link to your recorded audio. Your message in your own voice is instantly posted! The beautiful part of it all is the fact that this is totally free of charge!

Blogging has been used for some years as a platform for individuals to record chronological publication of comments and thoughts on the web. Now we know how one could go beyond this to capitalise the strength of blogging to enhance one's Internet business.

Seduce & Dazzle your Visitors

A prospect is the web term for someone visiting your website.

Once at your site -- your job is to give each prospect a compelling reason to TAKE ACTION . Yeah I know, yawn, yawn, yawn, we've all heard how important TAKING ACTION is blah blah blah...

But wait! If you are serious about making money online -- you need to know this.

There is a technique -- to making money online.

A lot of people (by far the majority) have 'luck' as a core strategy in their business plan.

'…I hope someone will buy…'…maybe I'll be lucky…'

Come on! Who wants to run a business like that?

There is no luck needed to make money online. What there is -- is hard work and a solid understanding of this business. I'm going to assume you are fine with the hard work.

But for the solid understanding -- here goes…

You will make money by building a list interested in a certain subject (or niche as it's called) -- spending sometime nurturing a relationship with this list -- listening to what they need -- before introducing them to products you know they will be interested in.

By far the majority of website owners are too busy -- or too desperate -- to make money immediately -- that they forget this. Or ignore it. The majority of website owners do not comprehend how important the relationship with their visitor/customer is.

Imagine you went into a store and the sales assistant was immediately in your face screaming 'buy, buy, buy!' You'd leave -- without purchasing. And so you should.

It's exactly the same for a web business. This is a store -- only online.

So why should it be any different to an OFFLINE business? It isn't!

I hope suddenly you are beginning to see this. Many do not.

Remember when you first started dating? You need to get to know each other first, learn about each other. You wouldn't propose on your first date (although I proposed on the 5th!)

Building a web business is the same.

Date your visitors! (metaphorically let me add...)!

Make them feel special.

Seduce them.

Dazzle them.

Reply to their emails.

Offer a wonderful free gift as an incentive to get them to join your list -- send an unadvertised bonus after they sign up - communicate with them.

Does it take more work? Yes. Most certainly it does. But not that much more. A few weeks -- a month at the most.

And then when the time comes to introduce a paid product -- your list will already be 'warmed' up to you -- resulting in them being a LOT more responsive.

A Wonderful Free Gift, Just For You!

Are You an Internet Marketing Junkie ?

I really got sucked in to all the hype about Internet Marketing, I don't know about you but once you opt-in to the latest GET RICH QUICK wonder system, the world and his neighbour are emailing you with their GET RICH QUICK wonder systems.

I just wanted to make money on the Internet, starting part time to run along with my job and hopefully to do as a full time business once I got going.

Affiliate Marketing, Article Marketing, Blogging, List Building, Social Marketing on Twitter, Facebook & Youtube, the list of things to learn seemed endless, how was I ever going to get my head around this lot - does this sound familiar?

I can see why the statistics show, 97% of people who go into Internet Marketing fail, it's because of the overwhelming amount of information we get pushed down our throats when attempting to start this business.

When I first started in Internet Marketing, I really did not have a clue how to start, I only knew that I wanted to make money online, their were so many ways of doing this that I just got totally confused with it all, I was walking around with a permanent headache. It started to become a chore but I knew that, as with any business their had to be a better way of doing something than the 99% of people selling their latest wonder systems were telling me.

It was simple - find out who had the best reputations to teach this Internet business and stick with him (or her) and him/her only, but only if their products were teachable to a learner like me, it should have video step by step tutorials, and show me everything I needed to know.

I scoured the Internet, I looked up all the reviews & reports.

Now, thankfully I'm on my way to a better life and you can be too, but don't do what everyone else tells you, don't think it's all about selling loads of products to loads of people because it isn't - in this modern age, with the benefits of social marketing, you need to nurture people, not treat them like cyber cash machines.

You need to form ongoing relationships, give those people as much free & useful information as you can, build up that relationship before trying to sell to them.

And now, I will do the same for you - FREE 26 Video's Worth $197 - How To Succeed In Internet Marketing

Set Goals You Want Badly Enough

The first thing that will contribute to reaching your goal is that you simply want to reach it badly enough.
You must learn how to desire with sufficient intensity to be successful.

If you have the desire you have the power to attain success. You can really have anything you want in life if you go after it. But you have to want it.

As a drowning soul desires air, as a shipwrecked person craves fresh water, so must you feel that intense, eager, insistent, demanding, ravenous desire for your success.

Your desire for success must be so strong within you that it becomes the very breath of your life. It must be your first thought when you wake up, and your last thought when you go to bed at night.

You can have anything you want if you go after it with intensity.

How To Run Your Own Bed & Breakfast

How to Run a Bed & Breakfast

Just trying to get a room makes you realize that bed and breakfasts are popular all over the USA & UK and you could even discover one in Trinidad and Tobago. Why are they so popular? A private guest room, fluffy towels, personal service, private bathroom, and a restful environment are some of the premiere reasons people pick a bed and breakfast instead of a motel.

Have you seriously thought about opening your own bed and breakfast? It's not as basic as decorating a few guest rooms, cooking a few meals and opening your doors to guests. There are several necessities to meet before moving forward with your own bed and breakfast plans.

One very valuable way to begin is to spend some time in a successful bed and breakfast. Spend a couple of months with a skilled innkeeper and you will experience first hand every thing that is involved with starting your own B&B.

Once you consider those factors, you will need to consider whether or not you have the character it takes to run a bed and breakfast. You'll be interacting with all sorts of people from all walks of life every day. Also note that you'll be getting up early, completing paperwork, marketing your business, dealing with contractors and vendors, answering the phone and interacting with your guests.

Pick out a spot for your bed and breakfast. Not only that, but you should decide whether you'll live on site or not. Talk to the city about zoning regulations that regulate businesses at your chosen site. Determine that you'll be permitted to serve the dishes you want to have available to your guests. Determine how many guests you can accommodate in your B&B.

A business plan is essential to your success. Marketing and advertising decisions need to be implemented prior to opening. Make sure your prices are competitive with others in the area.

Your guests are obviously the number one priority when you are running your B&B. Treat each visitor as someone special and appreciated. Providing the best service and being picky with details are necessary to a prosperous B&B. The rooms need to have the white glove inspection and be comfortable and attractive. Provide a full mean deal for breakfast, complete with hot and cold items, and (of course) be delicious. Guests who feel as though their needs have been selflessly met will recommend your B&B to their family and friends and they will also try to come back again. Come up with a special event or service the guests will remember and want to share with others.

A bed and breakfast is a unique business that will bring people from every continent to your doorstep. Count the cost to your personal life, marriage and finances, and then press onward if you decide that it is the right decision for you. Above all, enjoy the journey!

The Science of Getting Rich in Internet Marketing

How would you just love to kiss your day job goodbye for ever and work from home?

Of course, who wouldn't - sounds great doesn't it? No more commuting, no more riding that crowded bus or train in the morning, total freedom - right?

Well, according to the online guru's, it's all very simple all we need to do is purchase their latest super product, give it a quick read, sit down in front of the computer and away we go, we're off and running - Right?, Wrong !

If it was that simple, everyone would be doing it and our offices, towns & bus stations would be empty at 9am, right?, because everyone would be at home slowly rising from their beds and starting the days task of counting the money they have made overnight from their Internet Marketing business.

The reason why we can still ride the bus in the morning, get our coffee from the coffee shop or hand our cars to the valet parkers is because of 2 main reasons.

Reason 1 - not everyone in the world wants to be their own boss
Reason 2 - It's not easy, especially starting out - it's a jungle out there and not everyone is a big cat or elephant - some of us are just pussycats...meeeow!

Being your own boss takes time, effort & endless perseverance, however if you have the personality & the will to change, being your own boss can be one of the most rewarding things you can do.

So, what about the Science, you know - the Science of getting Rich, right?

Ah, the Science!

Here goes - firstly you need to study; model those persons who are actually doing it - right? It makes sense, if you have a friend in the typing pool who tells you they are making a fortune from internet marketing, and they still continue to draw their pay check month after month, they are either lying or they love their job more than the money - and some people do!

This is great, but in order for us to pursue our lifetime ambition; we need to model successful people who are actually doing what WE want to do.
Successful people are not hard to find, they are everywhere, their are plenty of report sites on the internet telling you who are trustworthy and untrustworthy.

Here is point 2, decide what you can become passionate about - if you love model railways, why start out with a business selling goldfish? Start out with a passion, and be passionate about what you do - you will do it a whole lot better if you love what you do, does this make sense?
Start part time. It doesn't make sense to give up your day job immediately, what are you going to live on?

Certainly not the incoming crumbs of your early part time business efforts - you need this early income to re-invest in your business, stay at work - put some time by in the evening or at the weekend to devote to your business.

You don't have any spare time? Ah, really - you don't watch TV, you don't go out to bars & nightclubs, and you just work all the time??? Boy you really do NEED to work for yourself, because if this is you, your JOB (Just Over Broke) must be taking over your life...

Remember, it's just a job - you are NOT your job, you are you - we all have a limited time on this earth, do you really want to spend the majority of it making your boss RICH?

Look, I 'll be straight with you, I hate working long hours and I hate having a boss, I would have worked for myself for LESS money than I got paid in my corporate job..
But, and it's a big but - I figured, I didn't have enough skills to make a fortune in anything too high tech, so I learnt the whole internet marketing thing.

I purchased training materials on email marketing, blogging, adding video to my websites, affiliate marketing etc, etc, I learnt a whole bunch of stuff from people who were actually using it in THEIR everyday business and I became good at it.

You can become good at it as well.

The Internet, Social Marketing - Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, this is where it's at now and you can make a fortune working from home telling all these people about your products.

No product to start? I started selling other people's products online, I just signed up for a ClickBank account, and away I went, later you can sell your own products if you want.

I hope this has given you an insight into starting out and making that decision to get started - this is the hardest thing people really have to do because its one of the main things that people find difficult to do - to get started, once you make the decision to get started and do so, other decisions become easier because you are gradually moving out of that comfort zone which people love.

And the problem with the comfort zone is - most people stay in it until it's too late...
I wish you every success in your new online business, if you are looking for a great product to get started with and market on the internet THIS SELLS, this will definitely help you get started and help you GET UP and GO... If it hasn't already GOT UP and GONE. Good Luck in your NEW Life!

I am an author and marketer on the Internet, I enjoy discovering new ways to make money every day, whether it's tweeting on Twitter or finding friends on Facebook, the internet has the power, the ultimate power to persuade and to mix, socialise and to learn, and to earn money at home.

Do You Tweet While You Eat or Twitter in the Bathroom ?

Twittering, Tweeting and Face - Booking, have fast become part of our everyday lives.

Whereas we used to just check our emails as part of our daily online routine, we are all now becoming part of this information hungry team of social & business - seeking Web 2.0 generation, scouring the net for more & more information & opportunities to digest.

We have thousands of friends & followers to interact with, from all parts of the globe, our computers are truly mobile, as are our phones, so that we can stay in touch at all times, we truly are a mobile, global village.

Can it be that one day, all people will be on Facebook and Twitter?

Wouldn’t that be cool, how great would it be if a tribesman in the Kalahari Desert, could tweet his experiences from on top of a camel.

Believe me; it won’t be long before the annoying tones of incoming text messages in the theatres & libraries are replaced with the not so annoying tweets winging their way to millions of net books near you.

Will life ever be the same again and why would you want it to be? Let’s be honest, we all get a kick out of our online status, it makes us feel good to interact & exchange ideas.

Before the good old internet came along, we only had the telephone to contend with , oh and of course personal contact, but who needs just that ?

Love it or hate it, the internet has probably brought more people together than any world disaster in history ever has, It’s probably the one main thing that most of us now have in common and it’s everyday use fuels many an economy.

You can now use the power of social networking, to sell goods & services, to find love and to massively increase your social status.

Facebook & Twitter, it could be the biggest punch up for world domination ever seen?, but who will win -only time will tell.
